Samuel Chenard is the CEO and co-founder of Palisade, a serial entrepreneur, and a technology builder with more than 15 years of experience. Since the early days of the iPhone, he has founded and led both venture-backed and bootstrapped companies, including two successful exits.
Having lived and worked in San Francisco and Singapore, Samuel brings a global, builder's perspective to Palisade. He is passionate about product design, meaningful experiences, and the leading edge of technology—especially AI—and how thoughtfully built products can make people's lives better.
Together with co-founder and CTO Ian Bussieres, Samuel is building Palisade to take the manual work out of email authentication while keeping operators in control.
Palisade's agent investigates sending sources, works through SPF and DKIM alignment, and moves domains toward DMARC enforcement. This agent-led model is built for teams that already use AI to get operational work done.
Sam works with MSPs every day on SPF, DKIM, DMARC and deliverability problems, and he writes Palisade's learning library: more than 400 practical guides covering email authentication, bounce and rejection troubleshooting, and defending businesses against phishing and spoofing.
Samuel is based in Montreal, Canada, and is an active member of the Quebec startup community.
