AI-first, agent-first DMARC software

DMARC software that does the work

Palisade is the easiest way for IT teams to reach DMARC enforcement, from one domain to thousands. Its AI agent investigates sending sources, configures SPF and DKIM, and moves domains toward p=reject, with DNS integrations that do the setup for you. Traditional DMARC workflows organize reports and leave each change to an operator.

The decision

Which one is right for you?

Pick Cloudflare DMARC Management if…

  • You prefer a more traditional Cloudflare DMARC Management workflow with people involved in each enforcement step.
  • Your buying criteria center on vendor-specific enterprise requirements.
  • Pick Cloudflare DMARC Management if your domains already run on Cloudflare DNS and you want free DMARC report visibility while making record changes yourself.
  • It fits a team watching a handful of its own apex domains at no cost, not an MSP running enforcement across client domains spread over many DNS providers.

Pick Palisade if…

  • You manage anywhere from one domain to thousands.
  • You want an AI agent to investigate issues, configure authentication, and move domains toward p=reject.
  • Teams already using Claude, OpenAI, or other AI tools can bring the same agent-led operating model to DMARC.

Feature comparison

Palisade vs Cloudflare DMARC Management at a glance

FeatureCloudflare DMARC ManagementPalisade
Enforcement
Autonomous enforcement executionCloudflare's dashboard reports pass/fail and displays warnings; tightening policy to p=quarantine or p=reject is a manual record edit the user makes (checked 2026-07-18).
DMARC report monitoringFree on every Cloudflare plan: shows whether emails passed DMARC, SPF and DKIM checks per source, with a Top 10 sources view.
Limits & metering
Unlimited email volumeCloudflare publishes no volume caps or metering for DMARC Management; the product is free on all plans (checked 2026-07-18).
Unlimited report retentionCloudflare's statistics cover selected periods of up to 30 days; it does not publish any longer retention period (checked 2026-07-18).
MSP operations
API access on every planCloudflare's DNS API is free on all plans, but it does not advertise an API for DMARC Management data (checked 2026-07-18).
ConnectWise, HaloPSA & Autotask integrationsCloudflare does not advertise any PSA integration for DMARC Management (checked 2026-07-18).
Published MSP per-domain pricingCloudflare publishes no MSP program for DMARC Management; it is free per Cloudflare-hosted zone, and each client domain must move its DNS to Cloudflare (checked 2026-07-18).
Hosted records & DNS
Hosted DMARC, SPF & MTA-STS recordsCloudflare adds its reporting address to the zone's DMARC record, or prompts you to add one, for zones on its own DNS; MTA-STS hosting is not advertised in the DMARC Management docs (checked 2026-07-18).
SPF flatteningCloudflare warns when an SPF record exceeds the 10-DNS-lookup limit and its audit shows where you could consolidate or flatten the record yourself; the documented fix is removing entries by hand, and automated flattening is not advertised (checked 2026-07-18).
100% DNS uptime guaranteeCloudflare's 100% uptime SLA applies to Business and Enterprise plans only; the Free and Pro tiers carry no SLA (checked 2026-07-18).

Pricing

Cloudflare DMARC Management pricing explained (and how Palisade compares)

Cloudflare DMARC Management is included at no extra cost on every Cloudflare plan, including the $0 Free tier. The requirement is structural rather than financial: each domain's authoritative DNS must be hosted on Cloudflare, and the product works on apex domains only.

Cloudflare DMARC Management planPublished priceWhat you get
DMARC Management (all plans)$0Included with Cloudflare DNS on every plan; apex domains only; when you enable it, Cloudflare adds its reporting address to your existing DMARC record, or prompts you to add one if none exists
Cloudflare Free$0/moCloudflare DNS plus DMARC Management; no uptime SLA
Cloudflare Pro$20/mo annual ($25 monthly)Same DMARC Management feature set; no uptime SLA
Cloudflare Business$200/mo annual ($250 monthly)Same DMARC Management feature set; adds 100% uptime SLA (1x service credits)
Cloudflare Enterprise (Contract)Custom - contact sales100% uptime SLA with 10x (Standard) or 25x (Premium) service credits
  • The $0 price is conditional on where your DNS lives: DMARC Management only works for domains whose authoritative DNS is hosted on Cloudflare.
  • Apex domains only; Cloudflare's docs state it does not work with subdomain setups.
  • Dashboard statistics cover selected periods of up to 30 days; Cloudflare does not publish a longer report-retention period (checked 2026-07-18).
  • Policy changes from p=none to p=quarantine or p=reject are manual record edits; the product reports and warns but does not execute enforcement.
  • SPF handling is diagnostic: it displays a warning when a record exceeds the 10-DNS-lookup limit and the documented fix is to remove entries yourself; it cannot modify SPF when a CNAME in the zone points to an external domain.
  • Cloudflare's 100% uptime SLA belongs to the Business and Enterprise plans, not the Free and Pro tiers.

How Palisade prices instead

  • Cloudflare's tool only works for domains whose authoritative DNS has moved to Cloudflare first; Palisade's hosted DMARC, SPF and MTA-STS records are a built-in feature of the product, not a DNS-hosting requirement.
  • Cloudflare shows you failing sources and leaves the record edits to you; Palisade's autonomous AI agent identifies legitimate senders, configures SPF and DKIM, and progressively tightens policy to p=reject.
  • Cloudflare's statistics views top out at 30-day windows with no published retention period; Palisade includes unlimited report retention and unlimited email volume on every paid plan.
  • Cloudflare publishes no MSP pricing, PSA integrations, or DMARC-specific API; Palisade publishes $9/$7/$5 per-domain tiers, puts API access on every plan including Free, and ships native ConnectWise, HaloPSA and Autotask integrations with client-domain import.

A report viewer in the DNS dashboard vs. executed enforcement

Cloudflare DMARC Management is a reporting surface inside the Cloudflare dashboard. When you enable it, Cloudflare adds a reporting address to your DMARC record, or prompts you to add one if none exists, and the first aggregate report can take up to 24 hours to arrive. The dashboard then shows which sending sources pass or fail SPF, DKIM and DMARC checks, record status, and an audit of your SPF record against the 10-DNS-lookup limit. Acting on any of it is left to you.

Palisade runs the same monitoring, then executes. Its autonomous AI agent identifies legitimate senders, configures SPF and DKIM for them, and progressively tightens the DMARC policy to p=reject. Where Cloudflare displays a warning when an SPF record exceeds the lookup limit and tells you to remove entries yourself, Palisade flattens SPF and hosts the DMARC, SPF and MTA-STS records, so enforcement is work the platform does rather than work it assigns you.

What $0 actually gates

The product costs nothing on any Cloudflare plan, including the Free tier. The gates are structural instead of financial. It only works for domains whose authoritative DNS is hosted on Cloudflare, and only for apex domains, not subdomain setups. Dashboard statistics cover selected periods of up to 30 days, with no longer retention period published. It cannot modify SPF when a CNAME in the zone points to an external domain, and no DMARC-specific API or PSA integration is advertised (checked 2026-07-18).

Palisade meters by domain and nothing else. Published pricing is $9 per domain per month for domains 2 through 100, $7 up to 1,000, and $5 beyond that, with annual billing taking $2 off every tier. Every paid plan includes unlimited email volume and unlimited report retention, and API access comes with every plan including Free. The 15-day full-product trial needs no card, and MSPs get one free NFR domain capped at 1,000 emails a month.

Who each product genuinely serves

Cloudflare DMARC Management fits teams whose domains already sit on Cloudflare DNS and who want report visibility in the dashboard they already use, at no cost. For an MSP the model stops scaling quickly: every client domain's authoritative DNS has to move to Cloudflare before monitoring can start, subdomain configurations are unsupported, and there is no published multi-client view, PSA sync, or per-domain pricing to build a managed service on.

Palisade is built for that managed-service case: per-domain pricing that steps down with volume, ConnectWise, HaloPSA and Autotask integrations that import client domains, and an agent that carries each domain to p=reject without an engineer editing records. If you run a small set of your own apex domains on Cloudflare DNS and only need to watch reports while making record changes yourself, Cloudflare's free tool covers that narrow case.

Migration

Switching from Cloudflare DMARC Management takes three steps

1

Batch-import your domains

Bring your client domains into Palisade in bulk, or let your ConnectWise, HaloPSA, or Autotask integration sync them automatically.

2

Run both platforms in parallel

DMARC reporting supports multiple recipients, so Palisade and Cloudflare DMARC Management receive the same reports during the overlap window. Nothing breaks while you compare.

3

Cut DNS over on your schedule

Point records at Palisade's hosted infrastructure (100% DNS uptime guarantee), then retire the old setup when you're satisfied.

Questions

Palisade vs Cloudflare DMARC Management: FAQ

Palisade is AI-first and agent-first DMARC software. Its agent investigates sending sources, works through SPF and DKIM alignment, and moves domains toward p=reject while your team stays in control. When evaluating Cloudflare DMARC Management, compare that operating model with the workflow in its current product documentation and decide how much work you want your team to carry.

Choose Palisade if you want an AI agent to carry routine DMARC work through enforcement, whether you manage one domain or thousands. It is also a natural fit for teams already using Claude, OpenAI, or other AI tools to get operational work done.

Choose Cloudflare DMARC Management if its current integrations, procurement model, or operating workflow better match your requirements. A more operator-led platform can also fit a team that prefers to review reports and make each change itself.

Start with a small group of representative domains. Send aggregate reports to both platforms during the evaluation, verify every legitimate sending source, and compare the work required to reach a safe enforcement decision. Confirm current pricing, retention, integrations, and contract terms directly with both vendors before migrating the rest of your portfolio.

No responsible DMARC platform should promise the same enforcement timeline for every domain. Timing depends on the number of sending sources, access to DNS and third-party systems, and how quickly each legitimate stream can be aligned. Palisade's agent reduces routine investigation and configuration work while operators retain control over policy decisions.
