Who we are

Palisade is built by a small team led by co-founders Samuel Chenard (CEO) and Ian Bussieres (CTO). We build agentic DMARC software for IT teams and MSPs. The agent investigates every sender, drafts every fix, and proposes each policy step. You approve before anything ships.

Why we build this

Email deliverability should not be this complicated. That is the reason Palisade exists.

Teams spend real money on content. They hire the writers, design the campaign, build the product emails. Then the message lands in spam or never arrives at all, because the sending app was never aligned and the domain's authentication was never made compliant. The work was good. It just never got seen.

The fix is well understood. SPF, DKIM and DMARC have been documented in the RFCs for years. What has been missing is software that does the work for you instead of handing you a report and a deadline.

So we want every domain protected. One domain or ten thousand, the bar should be the same. We want to fix this for everyone, and we are building it to be the best software out there.

What we built before

Palisade is not our first company. Sam has spent more than 15 years founding and leading technology companies, venture-backed and bootstrapped, since the early days of the iPhone. Two of them ended in successful exits. Along the way he lived and worked in San Francisco and Singapore.

What we are building now

Ian leads the engineering behind Palisade's agent. The agent investigates sending sources, works through SPF and DKIM alignment, and moves domains toward DMARC enforcement, with an operator approving each step.

Sam works with MSPs every day on SPF, DKIM, DMARC and deliverability problems. He writes Palisade's learning library, more than 400 practical guides, and leads our original research, including The State of DMARC 2026, a study of email authentication across 100,000 ranked domains.
