A domain can be registered at GoDaddy while its authoritative DNS lives elsewhere. Palisade identifies the provider answering for the zone before it proposes a GoDaddy publishing path.

Keep record ownership unambiguous

GoDaddy's DNS API represents the apex with @ and exposes individual record operations. Palisade keeps the owner name, record type, value, and TTL together in the approval diff.

Validate mail, not just the dashboard

A saved TXT record is only the DNS layer. Palisade rechecks the public answer and the authentication task so a green GoDaddy save state is not mistaken for a passing production sender.

Is this the official GoDaddy MCP server?

No. This is Palisade's MCP workflow for email-authentication work on domains whose DNS is hosted at GoDaddy. GoDaddy has its own developer products; Palisade adds cross-provider SPF, DKIM, and DMARC diagnosis, approval, and verification.

Can Palisade MCP change GoDaddy DNS today?

The MCP server can diagnose the domain and return the exact records. The approved external DNS write currently happens through Smart DNS Deployment in the Palisade app. Direct GoDaddy writes from MCP are not presented as live on this preview page.

What if GoDaddy is only the registrar?

Palisade checks which provider answers authoritatively. If another service hosts the zone, the change belongs there even when GoDaddy remains the registrar of record.

Does a saved GoDaddy record prove DMARC is working?

No. It proves only that a DNS change was accepted. Palisade also checks the public answer and the sender evidence needed for SPF, DKIM, and DMARC alignment.
